There are so many people who walk through life with great dreams and die. They eventually render their dreams useless instead of living them out. For some reason they never find their way into a room bursting with the energy of visionaries, those who choose to live their dreams. On June 29, over 400 people found that room at the New York Sheraton Hotel, the venue of the First Annual NV Awards. The dinner gala honored ten awardees for their achievements as urban professionals and entrepreneurs. The talented ten included those who needed no introduction to those whose introduction paled in comparison to their accomplishments.
