Even more dynamic than the first time, the NV Awards 2k3, was a mix of luxury, style, achievement, wealth and community empowerment. Over 400 urban professionals and entrepreneurs attended the black-tie gala, held February 28 at the W New York, a chic hotel in the city’s midtown area. The host and hostess for the evening were NBC’s Maurice DuBois, an award-winning television anchor/reporter who appears daily on Today in New York and Egypt, the stunning, former radio personality of New York’s only black-owned FM radio station, WBLS.

Sponsors for the “NV Awards 2k3” included Colgate-Palmolive, Martell Cognac, AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), Prudential Insurance Cos. and The MONY Group.
